MUSC 551 - Graduate Conducting Seminar(3 credits)
Prerequisite: Matriculation in the Master of Arts in Teaching (Music) program; or consent of instructor
With emphases in choral, orchestral and band conducting, this course is designed to revisit the language of conducting gesture and to encourage the establishment of a unique artistic identity while fostering the understanding of the diverse roles of the conductor. Offered alternate years.
