CRJU 535 - Trauma and Violence(3 credits)
This seminar will focus on trauma resulting from violence. It will explore theory and research on restorative justice approaches to violence and abuse, including domestic violence and sexual violence, as well as victim healing, ending the school to prison pipeline and restorative healing. Focus will be on approaches that support well-being, growth, justice, social equity and peace. Students will develop policies and programs using restorative practice. Offered annually.
