MGMT 560 - Managing People and Organizations(3 credits)
Prerequisite: ACFI 502; and ECON 500; and MGMT 500; or waiver
This course covers the integration of issues managers face when trying to lead individuals and organizational units to achieve corporate objectives, as well as the role of workforce management in fulfilling the goals and mission of the organization. Topics include theories and applications of management principles to motivating, rewarding and structuring employees’ work; managing groups and teams; and structuring the organization. Domestic and international issues in the workplace are discussed. Offered annually.
