HIST 438 - The Great Depression(3 credits) Prerequisite: Any two of the following courses: HIST 111, HIST 112, HIST 131, HIST 132, HIST 221, HIST 222; or consent of instructor This course explores the history of the United States during the Great Depression and the New Deal. As such, this course examines the economic inequalities of the 1920s before moving onto the political solutions to the Depression posed by both the Hoover and the Roosevelt Administrations. Offered alternate years. May be taken for graduate-level credit.
