MGMT 582 - Business Intelligence/Analytics(3 credits)
Prerequisite: ACFI 502; and ECON 500; and MGMT 500; or waiver
This course provides an introduction to the field of ‘business intelligence/analytics’ involving the use of data, statistical and quantitative analysis, exploratory and predictive models and fact-based management to drive decisions and actions. Such topics as data warehouses, data marts, business performance management, dashboards/scorecards, data mining, text analytics, web analytics and ‘big data’ will be discussed. Offered annually.
