MATH 562 - Topics in Geometry(3 credits)
Prerequisite: Admission to the MAT in Mathematics program; or consent of instructor
Designed for teachers of mathematics, this course provides and employs classical and modern tools to explore topics that extend and enrich the standard high school geometry curriculum. Topics may include Euclidean geometry, finite geometries, geometric transformations, non-Euclidean geometries, construction problems, tesselations and fractals.
