MATH 132 - Business Mathematics with Basic Calculus(3 credits) Prerequisite: MATH 122/122E with a minimum grade of “C”- or MATH 140/140E with a minimum grade of “C-” or MATH 150 with a minimum grade of “C-” or a mathematics placement test This course introduces students to mathematical concepts with an emphasis on business applications. The course provides a first introduction to rational, exponential and logarithmic functions and their applications, derivatives of basic algebraic, logarithmic, and exponential functions, optimization problems, basic antiderivatives and the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus.
