HIST 442 - United States History: The American Revolution 1763-1787(3 credits) Prerequisite: Any two of the following courses: HIST 111, HIST 112, HIST 131, HIST 132, HIST 221, HIST 222; or consent of instructor Background and causes of the American Revolution; the military, social, political and diplomatic aspects of the Revolution. The government under the Articles of Confederation and the problems engendered by the attainment of political independence. Offered alternate years. May be taken for graduate-level credit.
