GEOG 172 - Regional Geography of the Global North(3 credits) The study of regional geography of the developed world (including Anglo-America, Europe and the Soviet Union, Australia and Japan) investigates how humans have used the resources available to them to obtain a high standard of living in different physical and cultural milieux. This high standard of living is reflected in land-use patterns that are similar in their broad outlines but different in detail. Offered spring semester.
