GEOL 455 - Honors Capstone in Geological Sciences(3 credits)
Prerequisite: Open to earth science and geological science majors in the Commonwealth Honors Program or Departmental Honors Program and consent of instructor; formal application required
The honors capstone project is the culmination of a student’s work in the Honors Program and consists of an advanced student-generated research project to be completed by taking the honors capstone project for a total of six credits over two semesters. Students will meet regularly with their faculty mentor and the capstone project is read for approval by the Departmental Honors Committee or its designees. Repeatable: may earn a maximum of six credits. (Formerly EASC 455)
