MATH 105E - Mathematical Thought and Practice (Enhanced)(3 credits) Prerequisite: MATH 090 with a minimum grade of “S” or MATH 095 with a mininum grade of “S”, or math placement. Students enrolled in the enhanced MATH 105E course must also enroll in MATH 105T
Corequisite: MATH 105T This course is an introduction to the foundations of mathematical reasoning, emphasizing conceptual reasoning over numerical computations. Students will explore the beauty and diversity of mathematical thought, and solve problems using sets and logical operations, and number theory. The course does not provide preparation for other college-level mathematics courses. Offered fall and spring semesters. (CMAR)
