LAJA 335 - Peer Tutor in Japanese

This course is designed to assist tutors in developing the knowledge and strategies essential for serving as a peer educator in Japanese. It will also give hands-on experience to tutors in classroom teaching, assessment, and other strategies which are essential in their profession as educators. Tutors will be assigned to attend a designated class in the Department of Global Languages and Literatures throughout the semester. Working under faculty supervision, tutors will conduct study sessions for students outside of class and may assume other responsibilities. Repeatable: may earn a maximum of six credits.
