POLI 274 - Western Political Thought - Plato to the Present(3 credits)
This course covers the principal ideas and philosophies of politics articulated by philosophers and political thinkers since ancient times. The student will be introduced to many of the age-old and puzzling questions of how people can best govern themselves using legal, institutional and behavioral approaches. Offered annually.
