ECED 451 - Teaching All Learners Grades PK-2: Field Experience III

Prerequisite: ECED 342 and ECED 361
Corequisite: ECED 410; ECED 420; and ECED 430

Teacher candidates continue to build upon skills developed during Field Experiences I and II through participation in a field experience consisting of direct engagement with PreK-2 students in authentic instructional settings. Teacher candidates will have the opportunity to apply their knowledge of diverse learners, learning theories, classroom management, social emotional learning, varied instructional strategies, assessment strategies, and differentiation of instruction with diverse learners in small and whole group settings. Teacher candidates will continue to refine their teaching using reflective practices and feedback on their teaching. Field placements will be off campus in public early childhood or elementary schools serving students of diverse populations. Teacher candidates will be required to submit a Criminal Offenders Record Information (CORI) and fingerprints to the school district they are placed in. Offered fall and spring semesters.
