MATH 488 - Internship in Statistics(1-12 credits)
Prerequisite: MATH 202 and an overall minimum GPA of 2.8 and a minimum Mathematics major GPA of 2.8; consent of department chair; formal application required.
This non-classroom experience is intended to give students workplace experiences in statistics, data analysis, and/or data science through internships or external projects. This course offers an opportunity for students to integrate the statistical knowledge and programming skills developed in their coursework with practical work experiences. Offered annually.
