PHED 293 - #FindYourFit Physical Literacy for Diverse Populations(3 credits)
Prerequisite: PHED 117 or PHED 230
This course introduces the multidisciplinary constructs of physical literacy and their importance locally and globally. Students will make connections between physical literacy constructs of motivation, physical competence, confidence and valuing physical activities through study and connection to wider scholarly and professional practice communities. Students will explore programs, across the lifespan, to increase physical literacy on and off campus for diverse members of our communities. Offered annually.
