MENA 260 - Introduction to Middle East and North Africa(3 credits) Civilization in the Middle East and North Africa is richly incrusted with deep history, various cultures, faiths and traditions. This introductory course provides analytical frameworks drawn from the social sciences and humanities to understand geopolitical, intellectual and artistic continuity and change in this region. Students will learn about the cradle of ancient civilizations and three world religions. Offered fall and spring semesters. (CGCL; CHUM)
