GEOG 374 - Middle East and North Africa: Islam and Theater of Conflict(3 credits) Middle East and North Africa (MENA), home to the world’s three major monotheistic religions, in conflict with each other and beyond its borders. This course allows students to examine and discuss the major geo-political, economic, cultural and environmental issues confronting the region related to terrorism, water scarcity, migration and energy.
