GEOL 100 - Physical Geology(4 credits) Corequisite: GEOL 100L This course is an introduction to the processes that formed and continue to shape the earth. Lecture topics include continental drift, rock and mineral forming processes, and the effects of agents of erosion such as glaciers, streams and waves. The laboratories develop skill in rock identification and map interpretation. Three hours of lecture and two hours of laboratory weekly. Offered annually. (CNSL)
