MATH 316 - Differential Equations(3 credits) Prerequisite: MATH 251 with a minimum grade of “C-” or MATH 261 with a minimum grade of “C-“ This course is an introduction to ordinary differential equations. Topics include first-order differential equations (separable equations, linear equations, exact equations, integrating factors), second- and higher-order differential equations (homogeneous and non-homogeneous linear equations, method of undetermined coefficients), variation of parameters for second-order equations, Laplace transforms, series solutions and applications.
