PHED 281 - Theory and Practice of Educational Dance(2 credits) This course will involve students in creative/expressive dance using Laban’s Movement Framework as a basis for content. Knowledge of this content will give students a foundation for dance teaching in all settings. Additionally, students will have an opportunity to choreograph dance sequences both individually and in small groups. The intent is for both the non‑dancer and the trained dancer to be comfortable in the creative environment. Offered fall semester. (Formerly DANP 281)
