MUSC 211 - Introduction to Music Therapy(3 credits)
Introduction to Music Therapy will provide students an overview of the music therapy profession. This will include the history of music therapy as a field, current practice, a survey of basic literature in music therapy, basic assumptions and practices, clinical applications of music as therapy, and the pathway to becoming a professional music therapist. Offered alternate years.
