ARTS 402 - Art Studio Senior Seminar(3 credits)
Prerequisite: Senior standing
This course will involve the investigation and articulation of a topic of personal interest to each student, helping to establish models of critique and production that can be sustained beyond the program and in the profession. Students will begin the process by defining their intentions through an essay on concept, purpose and intent. Each student will work on self-directed projects, exploring conceptual ideas including short trial runs of techniques and strategies, on the path toward successful completion of a comprehensive body of work. Repeatable: may earn a maximum of six credits. Offered annaully.
