POLI 397 - Politics in the Developing World

Prerequisite: POLI 172
This course is a survey of the political dynamics of development in the world with special emphasis on the dominant theories of development, current critical issues in the developing world, internal and external forces affecting developing countries, and the policy directions taken by developing nations.
