EDLE 677 - Systems Planning for Educational Leaders(3 credits) Prerequisite: EDLE 601; restricted to cohort members Successful educational planning and managerial strategies to assess and define needs, establish priorities, set goals, allocate resources, implement plans and facilitate the instructional process in response to the needs of learners, teachers and the community are explored. Major topics include systems thinking and planning and the principles of total quality management applied to the educational setting. Additionally, this course examines recent research on planning and organizational development in education.
