POLI 280 - Politics and Government of Ireland(3 credits) This course explores the politics and government of Ireland. It begins with an overview of America’s longstanding relationship with Ireland, followed by an investigation into the development of Irish political and social identities. The course also covers the relationship between church and state, electoral politics, political institutions and conflict and cooperation in Northern Ireland. Offered alternate years. (CGCL; CSOC)
