MATH 516 - Topics in Applied Mathematics(3 credits)
Prerequisite: Admission to the MAT in Mathematics program; or consent of instructor
Designed for teachers of mathematics, this course will provide the study of topics in applied mathematics that includes vector algebra and vector calculus in an orthogonal coordinate system, scalar and vector fields, classification of physical fields, and solving boundary value problems. Offered alternate years.
