AVSC 210 - Aviation Weather(3 credits) Prerequisite: AVSC 110 or private pilot certificate or consent of instructor This course enhances the basic weather theory introduced in primary flight theory courses and makes a comprehensive examination of how to evaluate and interpret the many different types of weather products and services available from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. The student will learn each of the major weather products designed for aviation use and how best to use and integrate them for aeronautical decision-making and flight planning. Offered annually.
