GEOL 350 - Structural Geology(4 credits) Prerequisite: GEOL 225 This course explores the origin and analysis of rock structures produced by deformation. Laboratory exercises involve the construction and interpretation of geologic maps and geometric analysis of rock structures. Field trips will emphasize mapping skills and the interpretation of rock sequences. Two hours of lecture and one four-hour laboratory weekly. Offered spring semester. (Formerly EASC 350)
