ARTS 390 - Fiber Arts II(3 credits)
Prerequisite: ARTS 104 and ARTS 125 and ARTS 130 and ARTS 140 and ARTS 290; and either ARTH 103 or ARTH 104; or consent of instructor
Students learn intermediate woven structures and double-weave on the floor loom and how to read a ‘draft’. Practical applications of woven structures will be applied in the creation of 2D and 3D objects using traditional and contemporary finishing techniques. Meets six hours weekly. Additional fee required.
