Biological Sciences Major Learning Outcomes

1. Students will demonstrate knowledge in core subjects in the biological sciences including cell biology, genetics, ecology and evolution.
    
2. Students will demonstrate the scientific method, through the use of hypothesis testing in the design and implementation of an experiment using basic laboratory and/or field skills.
    
3. Students will locate, cite, and critically evaluate scientific information and primary literature from the discipline.
