HIST 482 - History of Modern Japan(3 credits)
Prerequisite: HIST 111 or HIST 131
This course will provide an overview of Japan’s transformation from a feudal regime to a modern nation, with an emphasis on the period from 1600 to the present. May be taken for graduate-level credit.
