BIOL 423 - Invasion Ecology(4 credits)
Prerequisite: BIOL 225 with a minimum grade of “C-” or consent of instructor
This course will examine the spread of invasive organisms. It will focus on the biology of organisms that alter ecosystems; endanger public health, local economies and traditional cultures; and their vectors of dispersal and management. Three hours of lecture and one three-hour laboratory period weekly. Offered fall semester, alternate years. (CWRM)
